We do essential work that will place us at risk of community or occupational exposure to covid.
We need universal paid isolation leave now!
If we are exposed to COVID and need to test, trace, isolate or quarantine, we should be paid for the full isolation period without losing any income or having to use our annual or sick leave. It must be available to all workers, including casuals.
Without paid isolation leave, services will struggle to function because workers should not have to go without pay when they are exposed to COVID at work.
