2015 is a year to be ASU Proud!
Together we:
-
bargained new agreements at NCR and Canon - safeguarding conditions;
-
pushed TabCorp into its first negotiations for a collective agreement with NSW members.
Across our Union we took a stand against violence against women, launching our We Won't Wait: End Domestic Violence campaign to secure funding to women led women's support services and to legislate for paid Domestic Violence Leave to be a universal right for all workers.
We welcomed over 2,000 new members, bargained for new agreements improving the wages and working conditions of thousands of workers, and mobilised for the humane treatment of refugees, for our environment and for marriage equality.
Each year we get better, smarter and stronger in our pursuit of social justice and fairness at work and in our community and in 2016 we plan to be as brave and bold as ever.
