Sydney Water workers are providing an essential service - delivering world-class water, wastewater and stormwater services to more than five million people a day.

We carry out this work in the most challenging of circumstances. Just this year we have worked through drought, fire, flood and now the COVID-19 pandemic.

We provide an essential service which means that many of us and our children are unable to follow the Government’s advice to “stay at home” which puts ourselves and our families at greater risk of contracting COVID-19. We do this knowing that our work is more important than ever to ensure the health of the Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains and Illawarra communities and to deliver the new vision for Sydney Water.
