Disability support workers are frontline essential workers, supporting some of the most vulnerable in our community.
After calls from the ASU the NSW Government has now agreed that residential disability workers can have priority access to the Pfizer vaccine, regardless of age.
NSW Health has worked with Health Care Australia to open two hubs for disability workers to receive a priority Pfizer vaccine.
There are two new Sydney hubs in Ryde and Ashfield. The hubs are open 8am – 4.30pm.

When attending your appointment, you must take proof that you are a residential disability worker. You can use your employee ID card, timesheet, payslip, or other proof of employment including a letter from your employer.
