In 2012, ASU members finished a decade of campaigning by successfully winning pay rises to the sector of 23 to 45%. 8 years later, everyone in the sector still receives two pay rises every year because of ASU members.
Now, our Equal Pay is under threat. Many government departments have not budgeted to lift the funding of programs into the future. If Equal Pay is not funded, jobs and services are under threat.
ASU members won Equal Pay. ASU members need to fight to protect Equal Pay.
All across Australia, ASU members are creating Save Equal Pay Activist Networks. Come to our first Save Equal Pay Activist Meeting on Wednesday, 19th February 2020 to plan our fight to Save Equal Pay. Make sure you tell your coworkers and bring a friend along!
