This year, union members at NSW Maritime will commence enterprise bargaining for a new Enterprise Agreement. The current Agreement will expire on July 30, 2010. It is very important that your new Agreement protects your employment rights and does not erode any of your working conditions.

ASU members at NSW Maritime have an opportunity this year to make sure your rights are protected for the life of the new Agreement. With a potential change of government in New South Wales next year, it will be very important to ensure that this Agreement is fair and equitable everyone and protects you against a possible Liberal Government and further public sector cuts.

The Survey

This is a chance for all ASU members to voice their concerns and influence the negotiations. Attached is a survey that will be used to create our Log of Claims that will be served on NSW Maritime management and used during the negotiations. NSW Maritime members - please print out this survey and return it to the ASU as soon as possible. We are asking for all surveys to be returned to the ASU office within the next week so please make sure that your survey is completed by close of business Wednesday 3^rd of March.
