The State Transit Authority’s Senior and Salaried Officer’s Agreement expired on 31 December 2008. Negotiations to establish the new EBA have commenced. ASU members are bargaining for a fair and equitable EBA.

Yesterday the State Transit Authority Senior and Salaried Enterprise State Award 2009 was certified by the NSW Industrial Relations Commission before Deputy President Grayson. He commended the parties on all of the hard work involved in consolidating all of the relevant industrial instruments. This is a special testament to ASU delegates involved in that process.

STA Award - Breaking News - Your New Award: Your Choice Print

A 3.75% increase pa over the next 3 years from 1 January 2009 is proposed in your new Award. Yesterday the Budget Committee of Cabinet gave the go ahead for State Transit to put a formal offer of a new Award to Senior and Salaried Officers. We await the offer which will guarantee pay increases based on key changes to the Award.
