Congratulations! By your unified actions you have won the justifiable pay claim you have been seeking since 2008.
In doing so ASU and APESMA union members also sent a clear message to the SCA that they were not happy with the job cuts planned by the SCA and the process of implementation and were prepared to take action if the SCA ignored their complaints.

The SCA have listened and responded to your demands (click here to view their letter) and members can now be assured that they have the respect of SCA management.

The backdating of your pay claim to July 08 is now being processed as per Kevin McKinlay’s email to all staff advising of the closure of HR21-ESS for this process.

There is still a hard haul ahead to ensure that the organisational restructure is kept transparent and any job cuts are fully justified by the SCA but Union officials, aided by your support and vigilance will be working hard to attain the best possible outcomes for members.
