Your Union delegates and officials met with SCA management last Friday 20th and also on Monday 23rd March in an effort to negotiate a resolution to the motions passed by members at the last meeting of ASU & APESMA members. The SCA are formalising a written response to these motions which will be presented to Union members for their consideration at a joint meeting of ASU & APESMA members on Tuesday 31st March, at Penrith RSL.

The SCA has also informed the unions that the award claim has been scheduled to be tabled at the Budgetary Sub-committee on Tuesday 24th March and the Union officials expect to provide a report back to members on progress of their award claim at the Members meeting.

The fight for a fair go from SCA management is a long way from over but members have put management on notice that they are not prepared to walk away from this issue. If you haven’t yet joined the union, it is not too late. Ask a delegate for a membership form now. It may be your job that you help save.
