Your Union delegates and officials met with SCA management last Friday 20th and also on Monday 23rd March in an effort to negotiate a resolution to the motions passed by members at the last meeting of ASU & APESMA members. The SCA are formalising a written response to these motions which will be presented to Union members for their consideration at a joint meeting of ASU & APESMA members on Tuesday 31st March, at Penrith RSL.

Your delegates met with SCA management on Monday to get feedback on questions that you raised regarding the Restructure. Management did not provide a response in writing and most of your questions remain unanswered. Despite asking repeatedly, we have no new information on where your new Award is up to, even though we reached in principle agreement last November.

Following the recent members meetings to endorse our Award claims, the ASU, along with APESMA, have had several meetings with the SCA to negotiate your new Award. This includes a pay increase and other changes which are outlined below.
