RIC Agreement 2009

After 8 months of negotiations the members have endorsed the new Rail Infrastructure Corporation Enterprise Agreement 2009. Click here to read your agreement.

 

The key elements of the proposed draft are:

  • 4% pay rise per annum for the two years of the agreement back paid to March 31st 2009.
  • No forced redundancies and no change to the indefinite salary maintenance entitlements.
  • An increase to the Travelling and Incidental Expenses Allowance to $160 per day.
  • Insertion of clauses about all the different kinds of leave – so your leave is clearly explained

The agreement has now been lodged with Fair Work Australia and is awaiting approval. When it is approved RIC will then implement the payrise and back pay as appropriate. If you have any question please feel free to contact your Union on 9310 4000.
