scissorsRailCorp has put on the table 28 new reforms which mean cuts to conditions and jobs. They say that we need to agree to these to get a 3.5% pay rise.

Last agreement they committed to putting any money that we saved them through efficiencies into our pay rise this time. This money is more than enough to get us the pay rise we deserve.

Our Money Didn't Just Walk Off By Itself Print

Hundreds of RailCorp workers have stood up in meetings across the state to say that RailCorp’s actions in giving away the savings made by workers is not good enough. This money must go towards paying the workers that achieved the savings.

30 meetings of combined rail union (CRU) members have already been held and are on-going this week. What they have said:

“We believe that there have been savings made during the life of the current Agreement and Railcorp promised these savings would go towards our pay rise this time. We call on RailCorp to honour the commitment they made to us previously.

We the members resolve to escalate the campaign to see a fair pay rise. We endorse the CRU to take all and any actions necessary to have this resolved.”
