The Combined Rail Unions (CRU) and RailCorp have agreed to have the negotiations conciliated by Fair Work Australia. This means that there is a third party hearing our claims and trying to help us reach settlement.
The first of these meetings was held on Thursday 1 July and there will be further meetings held starting Monday 23 July.
There are a number of big issues that are outstanding and these issues will be the focus of these meetings:
- Redundancy NOT YET AGREED
- Pay rise NOT YET AGREED
- Term of the Agreement NOT YET AGREED
- The 28 reforms NOT YET AGREED
- Consultation through restructures NOT YET AGREED
- Gold passes NOT YET AGREED
- Rostering principles NOT YET AGREED
- RailCorp’s use of contractors NOT YET AGREED
