The RailCorp Union Collective Agreement expired on March 31 2010.Your new agreement will set your employment conditions and your entitlements. Union members are campaigning to ensure the EBA is fair and equitable. We need to be united and strong to ensure we negotiate a positive agreement for all staff for the years to come.
Railcorp pre-strike ballot, get ready to vote!

Our claims right from the beginning were simple: A fair pay rise and no selling out terms and conditions. RailCorp’s offers have been red herrings. They offer a pay rise but we have to go backwards in our conditions and accept job cuts across the network. This is our last chance to protect our conditions before a potential change of Government. Now is the time to lock down what we’ve got, especially our redundancy entitlements!
Railcorp Members say: “We will not let our conditions go downhill!”

Throughout the EBA campaign, through the survey; log of claim endorsement meetings; emails and faxes sent to RailCorp’s negotiators; member meetings; and petitions to politicians the message has been clear. What the membership is asking for is simple and reasonable – a fair pay rise and no loss of conditions.
RailCorp is not listening.
They keep coming back to us with conditions we need to cut in order to get a pay rise we’ve already earned. Make them listen!
BADGE DAY TUESDAY JUNE 8
Your opportunity to make them listen!

By wearing the badge you are showing solidarity with your colleagues and sending a clear message to RailCorp to get their act together. If you wish to organise a badge day in your workplace email

RailCorp Breaks Its Promise With More Cuts
Friday, 21 May 2010 10:21
RailCorp has put on the table 28 new reforms which mean cuts to conditions and jobs. They say that we need to agree to these to get a 3.5% pay rise.
Last agreement they committed to putting any money that we saved them through efficiencies into our pay rise this time. This money is more than enough to get us the pay rise we deserve.
