Relationships Australia Offer: Only 2% Pay Rise Print

Your Enterprise Agreement negotiators met on 13 August for the first time. Relationships Australia Management and the ASU exchanged claims.

ASU Representatives were disappointed to see such a low offer of 2% per annum proposed by RA Management. (The NSW State Wage case has delivered a 2.8% pay increase this year and the sector nationally is averaging 4.5%).

Survey of Relationships Australia Employees

The ASU has been conducting meetings and surveying both members and non-members to develop a log of claims to present to relationships Australia management. This process is nearly complete with a deadline for the return of Survey’s extended to 22nd June 2009 to ensure as many as possible are returned from as wide a variety of employees as possible.

ASU Members will be aware that Relationships Australia has commenced a process for a new enterprise agreement. Over the next few weeks the ASU, your union, will be present at each Relationships Australia Workplace to distribute a Survey and seek feedback from members for the Enterprise Agreement.  The ASU will seek to identify a delegate or contact person in each worksite for ongoing communication.
