Mission Australia

Mission Australia is negotiating a new enterprise agreement for its staff who are covered by the Social and Community Services Award. They are proposing radical changes to the pay and rights of their workers despite the fact they are already paid less than other community workers across NSW.

Negotiations began in late May after workers joined their union in record numbers and voted overwhelmingly for a union agreeement. Mission Union members know that to have a strong voice in negotiations they need the numbers.
