Sydney Water stands by last week’s decision to outsource 135 electricians and fitter positions at six Sydney locations include St Marys, which opened two years ago.

Management’s proposals in Enterprise Bargaining are alarming and read like a very bad dream, but this is only the tip of the iceberg. As you know, management announced this week that they would outsource all of the Mech/Elec division meaning even more job cuts on top of the hundreds announced since August last year.
