The Single Bargaining Unit have continued meeting with the HWC negotiating team and as a result of this, a sub-committee has been formed to work on the proposal to redraft the awards and agreements into a single document, and to work on the salary banding proposal.

The sub-committee will be comprised of:

• Naomi Arrowsmith and/or Jason Grills (ASU)
• Peter Hull (salary)
• Greg O’Donnell (wages)
• Steve Jordan (trades)
• Bruce Lambert (salary)

ETU and the AMWU have presented HWC with their log of claims. The ASU fully supports their log of claims.

There was a great response from Head Office staff to the car parking questionnaire, thank you to everyone who responded (if you still have one to return, please drop it back to a delegate).

The next EBA meeting between the SBU and HWC will be held on the 19th May 2009.
