Following extensive negotiations with Hunter Water last Friday, the Committee of Management believes that it has secured an agreement with Hunter Water that it is willing to recommend to members.

Hunter Water Corp Members Meeting - Monday 9th November Print

There will be an ASU Members Meeting on Monday 9th November 5.00pm at the Newcastle Leagues Club Auditorium,  second floor, 17 National Park Street, Newcastle West.

 

Following your Union meeting of 2 November your concerns about the “agreement” were raised with HWC and they have agreed to meet with the ASU and the Single Bargaining Unit on Friday 6th November to continue negotiations.

 

A full report back meeting will be held on the above date and location.

 

All Hunter Water Employees’ are invited to attend the meeting. If you are not currently a member you can join at the meeting.

 
Hunter Water Abandons Ballot Print

HunterWater-bulletin-03Nov09-thumbThe ASU has welcomed the decision of HW to abandon the ballot for a new agreement and return to the negotiation table this Friday.

There will be a members meeting at Trades Hall on Monday at 5pm. The purpose of the meeting will be to hear a report on the Friday negotiations and to determine whether or not any further action is required by members.
