After nearly a week of delaying by IBM, the application by the ASU to hold a ballot to take protected industrial action was heard in the Australian Industrial Relations Commission today.
The Commissioner has reserved his decision, so we may not know the outcome for some time. IBM paid for all their external legal representation appear again and numerous people from Human Resources to attend. We will keep Flightdeck members updated about the next steps as soon as we find out what the decision from the commission is.
