The Draft Agreement is being presented to the SCC on 5 June and you need to get ready to bargain.  Challenge employees need a strong, independent and informed voice to get an Agreement that is fair and equitable.  Your employer is organised and well resourced – you need to be as well!

In order for members to be properly responded by the ASU, you need to sign the ‘Authority to Bargain’ form below and faxback to the ASU today on 9698 8936.

It is time to join the Union if you are not already a member.  The Union is only as strong as its members – we need to ensure that our Union represents the majority of us so we can be well organised.

If you are not yet a member and want the ASU to represent you, fill out and fax back both the ASU Membership and the Authority to Bargain forms TODAY.

We will only represent members, so don’t delay.

AUTHORISATION TO ACT AS A BARGAINING AGENT

I authorise the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Service Union (ASU) to act on my behalf as a Bargaining Agent in respect of any negotiations, discussions or proceedings whatsoever relating to the terms and conditions of my employment.

My authority extends to all forms of negotiations for any type of agreement proposed to be made under the Workplace Relations Act 1996.

This authority remains in force until I revoke it in writing.
