Here is how some workers are getting to the Day of Action:

Blue Mountains Disability Service – Eloura Day Programs
Management is 100% supportive of the Day of Action. The Manager has rescheduled a planned training day to allow staff to attend and put in place a skeleton staffing plan at the workplace. All workers who want to come are able to. The workers have a plan to jump on board the Blue Mountains Care Express, meeting workers at every station on their way to the Day.

Interaction Disability Services

Flintwood Disability Services has agreed to release workers on paid time to attend. They are taking their community bus to the day.

Liverpool Youth Accommodation Association Company are closing for the day and all workers are attending. They are bringing the on-call phone with them in case of emergency. CISS workers that don’t work on Fridays are coming in their own time and are organising to get as many people along as they can.
