Equal Work Equal Pay
The ASU has struck an historic agreement with the Federal Government for a National Equal Pay case for all Australian SACS workers.
The Agreement acknowledges the historic nature of the SACS Queensland Decision and the desire of the ASU to achieve this outcome nationally.

CARE - community, advocacy, respect & equity
A new vision for Community Services.
The ASU has initiated a campaign to improve conditions and skills for staff in the SACS industry. Attracting and retaining qualified staff is a goal that can only be achieved through increased funding. An alliance of the ASU, peak groups and employers has formed to start this campaign. Mission Employment Services Campaign

Mission Australia Employment Services workers are in the process of negotiating a new Enterprise Agreement. The bargaining process has started but there is a long way to go. As the Employment Services Union continues to grow, Mission Australia workers are finding themselves in a better position to negotiate their conditions and their pay.

Relationships Australia EBA
A campaign by ASU members and staff employed by Relationships Australia to negotiate a new Enterprise Agreement. With more than 7 years since the last completed agreement members are working together to ensure they get the agreement that they want.

ACT Multi Enterprise Agreements
The ACT MEA is a campaign uniting various organisations in order to preserve the ACT Sacs Award, which as a result of Award Modernisation will be abolished from the 1 January 2010.

Catholic Health Care Campaign
Workers at Catholic Healthcare have been involved in vigorous negotiations with their employer who has attempted to remove the use of their cars for personal use. Workers are not only fighting for compensation for this loss but also respect in the workplace.

The ASU office receives information from a lot of different sources. General information from RailCorp, STA and Sydney Ferries, industry newsletters and research materials just to name a few.
Member reaction to this information helps to drive our response on each of these.

Burwood Campus Campaign
The Rail Corporation New South Wales Union Collective Agreement 2008 expires on 31 March 2010. Negotiations for the new agreement will start in the next few months.
The Combined Rail Unions will be working together to act as bargaining agents for members.

Better Services
The ASU is involved in the Better Services, Better State campaign. This campaign is based on the Your Rights At Work model and is about raising the profile of the public sector in the community. A large number of public sector unions have come together to raise community awareness about the important role that the public sector plays in the day to day lives of the people of NSW and the importance of investment in it. Airlines Industry Campaigns

AaE EBA Campaign
After months of negotiations, ASU members at AaE International are just a vote away from securing a new agreement that delivers for members. The new agreement provides increases to wages, protects existing conditions and requires the company for the first time to engage in consultation with the ASU about major changes to the workplace.

Airlines Modern Award
On 4 September 2009 the Australian Industrial Relations Commission (AIRC) released a modern "Airline Operations Ground Staff Award". This Award cuts wages and conditions and cannot be allowed to stand.

Toll Dnata ITEAs
Toll Dnata are attempting to put ground handling staff on ITEAs that undercut airline industry standards and award minimums for pay and conditions.
The ASU will campaign for fair conditions for Toll Dnata staff.

Canon Collective Agreement 2009
In 2009 Canon technicians will be negotiating for a new collective agreement to cover their terms and conditions of employment. This is a chance to fix the problems with the current agreement and get a better deal for technicians.

IBM Flightdeck EBA Campaign
A campaign by IBM workers at the IBM Flightdeck in Baulkham Hills NSW to obtain a collective agreement that would provide annual payrises, a travel allowance, fair redundancy and retrenchment provisions, paid shift handover periods, and protect current shift penalties and hours of work.

NCR Collective Agreement 2009
The ASU has commenced negotiations for a new collective agreement at NCR Australia. Technicians will need to work together to keep the conditions that have been won in agreements in the past.
