ARTC Publishes Draft - Pushes to Vote Print

ARTC forwarded this letter today stating that a vote will be held shortly. This is the time for members to make a decision as to whenether they wish to vote NO or YES on their agreement. ARTC has entered into virtually no negotiation and is now pushing ahead with a vote despite making no consessions. ASU members need to decide if this is the agreement they want for the next two years.

After two meetings in which the Unions made submissions regarding the Combined Unions Log of Claims and ARTC said very little, they have finally come back with a position.

ARTC Negotiations Begin: Members present log of claims Print

The negotiations for the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) 2009 EBA have commenced. On Thursday 12 March 2009 the ASU, the RTBU and APESMA met to draft the log of claims. There was a lot of different comment from the various membership and the concern was split between issues with the way in which the current agreement was being administered by ARTC and issues which could be addressed in a renegotiated EBA. This log of claims and a survey has been issued to all members. See below for log of claims.
